What is failing?  Error(s) I see: padding can’t be negative (as set on the `<h2>`). Maybe other things are interacting with the whole construct… Lacks context.

Hi Crest,
Perhaps try...

<span style="font-size:.7em;margin:56px 0 0 -24px;"><h2>email: </h2><a href="#" style="color:white;"><h2>[hidden email]</h2></a></span>

I have found the <h1>...<h6> to be better wrapped than a wrapper.
Meaning, I only put text inside them. No elements.

Oh and padding can not be negative. I think you were meaning margin?

Re: Inline Anchor failing to work ?

Tom Livingston
Negative padding is treated like 0 or none. In padding short hand, I
*think* it will negate the whole padding declaration. You could try
negative margin for the side in question instead.

Re: Inline Anchor failing to work ?

Crest Christopher
Thanks for the help guys; unfortunately due to a markup error on my part
sent to support. The company took me off their software beta list; not
very forgiving then again, there support in the past has been not the
friendliest.

Re: Inline Anchor failing to work ?

I have no idea what this means or what it has to do with negative padding.

Karl, yes; I ran this by another non-computer person and they were
shocked; mistakes can happen is all the reply they gave, someone
speaking whom has no experience with computers.
